In one week’s time, Vancouver’s Science World will be transformed into a cocktail lab wonderland.  On February 4th, 2016, Science of the Cocktails will play host to some of Vancouver’s most talented bartenders as they showcase the intersection between ingredients, technique and science. Guests can geek out as they explore the chemistry, biology and physics behind some of their favourite libations. With 25 bar stations and food pairings prepared by Railtown Catering, there will most certainly be something for everyone.

Proceeds from all ticket sales will go to the Science World Class Field Trip Program which provides children from underfunded schools free access to Science World. Keep an eye out for some of Vancouver’s award-winning bar talent  as they share some unique cocktails for the event, all in the name of science education. Included in the formidable group of local bartenders are Uva’s Lauren Mote and Sabrine Dhaliwal, Fairmont Pacific Rim’s Grant Sceney and Mike Shum, Supermarine’s Adam Domet and The Keefer’s Amber Bruce.
