Cocktail Of The Day (because it’s always cocktail hour somewhere in the world). Welcome to the second part of our two-part #COTD featuring cocktails created by the amazing Sabrine Dhaliwal. The talented West Restaurant Bar Manager is currently in London, England competing in the global finals for the Belvedere Challenge.
What better way to celebrate her adventure AND National Martini Day (which just so happens to be tomorrow), than with this beautiful cocktail she created for the competition. Pink Skies At Night pays homage to the classic martini while integrating hints of strawberry, cucumber and grapefruit.
Recipe:
45 mL Belvedere Vodka
15mL Lillet Rose
Grapefruit Peel (pith removed)
Cucumber (3 thin slices, chopped)
Combine grapefruit peel and cucumber in mixing glass. Gently press with a muddler. Add spirit and stir for about 15 seconds over ice. Double strain into a martini glass and garnish with a grapefruit twist.
