Cocktail Of The Day- because it’s always cocktail hour somewhere in the world. For the summer months, we’ve round up a few warm weather sippers created by local bartenders. Feel free to make them at home or head to the bar and order one for yourself!
This week’s #COTD is brought to you by the ever-amazing Kaitlyn Stewart of Royal Dinette. Let The Beet Drop combines the smoky flavour of mezcal with the earthy taste of the beet juice. With the sweet and spicy blend of the Blood Orange Shrub infused with Thai chillis, this cocktail is a vibrant alternative to a classic margarita.
1.0 oz Los Siete Misterios Mezcal
0.5 oz Cinzano Orancio
1.0 oz Fresh beet juice
0.75 oz Blood Orange Thai Chilli Shrub
0.75 oz Fresh lime juice
Smoked Salt to rim the glass
1. Place all ingredients into shaker tin.
2. Vigorously shake for 10-15 seconds.
3. Rim a rocks glass with smoked salt.
4. Fine strain over fresh ice and serve.
