Cocktail Of The Day (because it’s always cocktail hour somewhere in the world). With the first day of fall under our belt, my craving for something dark, boozy and stirred is coming back with a vengeance. Me and my Manhattan are quickly becoming reacquainted and I couldn’t be happier. Hope y’all are enjoying the ever-changing light and leaves crunching beneath your feet! Cheers!
Recipe:
2 oz rye
1 oz sweet vermouth
2 dashes angostura bitters
Garnish with an orange twist
Stir rye, vermouth and bitters over ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with an orange twist (and a cherry if desired…..or if you’re me, 2…….ok 5).
