Cocktail Of The Day (because it’s always cocktail hour somewhere in the world). This week we return to the modern classics with a little bourbon based cocktail from Lauren Schell created at Little Bird in New York. When Blair and I first read the recipe on Eater, we were shocked that this wasn’t a cocktail before 2009. It’s so simple and really delicious and quite perfect for summer evenings!
2 oz bourbon
1 oz fresh lime juice
3/4 oz simple syrup
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Shake all ingredients over ice. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a sprig of mint.
